Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic composition, which maintains the stability of vitamin A and whose appearance is made transparent, and which increases in adsorption to vitamin A to a cornea in ocular instillation (a dilution state in a tear fluid), and in which the effect of vitamin A is more exhibited, and to provide a method for producing the ophthalmic composition.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic composition includes vitamin A-including nanoemulsion particles, obtained by adding, to an aqueous phase at 75 to 90°C, an oil phase at 50 to 90°C including (A), (B), and (C) components represented by (A) vitamin A of 0.015 to 0.05 W/V%, (B) (B-1) polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil 60 or (B-2) polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil 60 and monooleic acid POE (20) sorbitan by 1:3.0 to 7.0 at a mass ratio represented by (A): (B), and (C) an antioxidant agent selected from tocopherol acetate and dibutyl hydroxy toluene, and by performing stirring in such a manner that an aqueous phase temperature after the addition of the oil phase from the start of the stirring to the completion of the stirring reaches 75 to 90°C. |
