Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire holding body which can be fixed tightly to an electric wire for a long period without loosening of a fastened screw row even when vibration is applied or when a branch of a tree comes into contact.SOLUTION: An electric wire holding body is provided with a body member 1 having support arm parts 5a, 5b extended from both ends of a main rod 4; a screw rod 2 which threadably engages a screw hole 6 penetrating one support arm part 5a, and moves forward and backward along the main rod 4; and stop means 3 which has a press piece 8 positioned opposite the upper support arm part 5b and pivoted at the tip of a screw rod 2 to slide along the main rod 4, and is fixed to a distribution line W by holding the distribution line W therein by inserting the distribution line W into a holding part (a) between the other support arm part 5b and the press piece 8 and moving the screw rod 2 forward, and stops the screw rod 2 mounted on the screw rod 2 while interposed between the press piece 8 and the one support arm part 5a to fasten the distribution line W from rotating in its loosening direction.
