GUIDE SYSTEM USING DEFORMATION MAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide system having a high degree of freedom of indication of a user's present position with comparatively easy conversion processing.SOLUTION: Map data receiving means 26 of a terminal device 2 receives map data 10 from a server device 4. In-block determination means 28 determines whether or not an acquired present position is in a block to be shown by the map data 10 on the basis of the map data 10. When it is determined that the present position is in the block, deformation map display means 30 converts latitude and longitude of the present position into a position on a deformation map and displays the present position in the block. In addition, when it is determined that the present position is not in the block, the deformation map display means 30 converts the latitude and the longitude of the present position into a position on a line adjacent to the deformation map most and displays the present position on the line.
