Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor capable of ensuring a sealing property between a housing and a cover while saving production cost and further capable of restraining noise leakage via a seal member.SOLUTION: An arc-like extension part 47 is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the opening end side of an outer circumferential part forming cylindrical part 42 so as to elongate from the outer circumferential part forming cylindrical part 42 to a bottom wall 12a and disposed inside a seal member 51. The seal member 51 is disposed along the outer circumferential surface 47b of the extension part 47 in a state closely contacted therewith. The extension part 47 is disposed inside the seal member 51.
