Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystal composition obtained by mixing two or more liquid crystal compounds, in which the liquid crystal composition produced is high in reliability, and which can produce it efficiently.SOLUTION: A method for producing a liquid crystal composition obtained by mixing two or more liquid crystal compounds comprises stirring the two or more liquid crystal compounds, at least one of which has a melting point higher than 40°C, at an agitation initiation temperature of not higher than 40°C without applying heat from the outside thereto. The method can produce a reliable and high quality liquid crystal composition dispensing with large equipment such as a pressure reducing device and a heating device. Hence, this method is very practical for production of a liquid crystal composition which is required to be highly reliable.
