METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING WORKPIECE HAVING EDGES CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for manufacturing a workpiece having edges connected to each other which reduces a cycle time by easily performing positioning of a first plate member and a second plate member.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a workpiece executes: a workpiece inputting step of holding, by a holding arm 22 and a sucking holding arm 23 of a positioning tool 20, an inner panel W1 and an outer panel W2 while they are respectively positioned, and converting the inner panel W1, the outer panel W2 and the positioning tool 20 into a single module to be input in a processing process; and the processing step of performing connection of peripheral parts of the inner panel W1 and the outer panel W2 to each other while they are converted into the single module.
