Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector that can be made compact without lowering retaining force for an optical fiber cable.SOLUTION: An optical connector 11 includes: a housing 17 which houses a ferrule 19 connected to an optical fiber tip part of an optical fiber cable 13; a crimp sleeve 21 into which the optical fiber 15 is inserted and which has a cylinder part 53 led out of a sleeve through hole 51 of the housing 17 and is housed in the housing; a crimp ring 29 which is fitted around an outer periphery of the cylinder part 53, and fixes a tensile strength wire 34 of the optical fiber cable 13; and a boot 23 having a protection part 61 covering outer peripheries of the optical fiber cable 13 and crimp ring 29 and a locking flange part 65 which is connected to the protection part 61 and is locked to the crimp sleeve 21. In the cylinder part of the crimp sleeve 21, a partition part 54 is provided which partitions a through space 52.
