EXTRUSION PRESS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromotive drive system extrusion press device wherein a driving part of a discard shearing device and a die slide shearing device is commonly used to simplify the constitution and reduce cost.SOLUTION: An extrusion press device includes a discard shearing device for cutting a discard, a die slide shearing device for cutting a product extruded from a die, and a die slide device which freely moves the die along a rear face of the end platen, on a front face of an end platen. The extrusion press device further includes a driving device for the two shearing devices which has an electric motor as a drive source, and the driving device is connected to a rotary driving part of the die slide shearing device and the discard shearing device via a clutch coupling provided to the driving device, and further the clutch coupling is selectively intermitted to drive either of the shearing devices.
