Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case lid having an explosion-proof mechanism to be surely cleaved, capable of accurately processing a thin recessed groove for rupture of a lid made of an aluminum alloy, and also to provide a method for forming an explosion-proof valve of the battery case lid.SOLUTION: When a thinner recessed groove 4 for rupture is provided to a thin flat recess 3 by coining processing as an explosion-proof valve 2 of a battery case lid made of an aluminum alloy, a recessed groove 5 for assisting molding of the recessed 4 for rupture, which is thicker than the recessed groove 4 for rupture but thinner than the flat recess 3, is further provided after being simultaneously processed by coining.
