MONITORING SYSTEM AND MONITORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an operator who approaches a job site apparatus by monitoring the peripheral situations of the job site apparatus.SOLUTION: A monitoring system includes: radio tag sensors 7 to 9 for apparatus attached to the periphery of a job site apparatus in a plant, for detecting that a radio tag 1 is within a predetermined warning range; an information server 10 in which tag identification numbers and operator information for specifying an operator who carries the radio tag 1 are preliminarily registered in association, and apparatus identification numbers and apparatus information for specifying a plurality of job site apparatuses are preliminarily registered in association; tag information input means 2 for acquiring information including a radio tag No of the radio tag 1 and information including a radio tag sensor No for apparatus of the plurality of radio tag sensors 7 to 9 for apparatus; information processing determination means 3 for determining the entry of the operator within the warning range on the basis of the operator information and the apparatus information supplied from the information server 10; and display/operation means 4 for displaying the determination result of the information processing determination means 3.
