Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens protection member able to improve the beautiful appearance of a photographing apparatus in comparison with conventional one while maintaining the function of a lens protection during photographing, and imposing no field angle limit due to the wide angle lens of the photographing apparatus.SOLUTION: A camera unit case 21 for a camera unit 20 provided with a camera module 10 having a horizontal field angle of 180 degrees includes a lens protection member 3 that has two projection parts 2, one above the other, projecting closer to a subject than a subject side lens 1 arranged closest to the subject. The projection parts 2 cover parts of the upper and lower portions of the subject side lens 1 of a lens part 12 provided in the camera module 10. The opposite sides of the projection parts 2 are formed horizontal. A virtual field angle that is prevented from being blocked by each projection part 2 is set to 125 degrees.
