MOLDING DIE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die apparatus which can integrally mold a composite member, in which a flange part composed of a green compact is integrally molded around a shaft made of a melted material, at a fixed high joining strength, without applying press-fitting and without causing damages such as cracks and fracture.SOLUTION: A shaft 3 supplied to a shaft setting position by a shaft supplying means 50 is inserted into an upper punch 33 by a shaft charging rod 61, and the shaft 3 is further inserted into a die hole 10a following the powder compression operation of the upper punch 33; and in this state, the powder packed into the die hole 10a is compressed in the shaft direction by the upper punch 33 and the lower punch 23. While performing the compression molding of a green compact 2 of the flange part, simultaneously the green compact 2 can be integrally molded to the shaft 3, so that molding without applying press-fitting is made possible. The inside of the upper punch 33 is set to a negative pressure by an upper-punch inner-pressure adjusting cylinder 72 (holding means) to hold the state where the shaft 3 is inserted into the upper punch 33.
