DEVICE FOR GUIDING THREADING ON HOT ROLLING LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote improvement in yield when winding up the rear end of the steel plate by a winding machine by: causing damages on a steel plate; stably avoiding folding-inside of the steel plate; and suppressing a shutdown due to rupture of the steel plate generated due to folding-inside.SOLUTION: A steel plate rear end introduction guide 3 is provided close to an upstream side of a winding pinch roll 1 and a lower side roll 2 disposed on an entry side of a winder on a hot rolling line. A fixing guide 4 for introducing a leading end of a steel plate is provided on an upstream side of the steel plate rear end introduction guide 3. The steel plate rear end introduction guide 3 is made higher than a flapping part of the steel plate S and separated by at least 250 mm in height h1 of an upstream side end and by 5-150 mm in height h2 of a downstream side end relative to a pass line of the steel plate S so as to have an inclination angle of 5-20 degrees relative to the pass line directing from the upstream side end toward the downstream side end.
