POWDER SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively and continuously supply powder hard to be discharged over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A powder supply apparatus includes a rotary body 4 having a rotationally symmetric shape centering around a rotary shaft 4a and also having a powder conveyance surface, which has a predetermined radius of curvature in a rotary shaft extending direction, provided to the outer peripheral surface thereof; a drive part 20 for rotating the rotary body; a hopper 6 housing the powder and having an opening formed at the lower end thereof so as to keep a predetermined interval with respect to the powder conveyance surface of the rotary body; a motion imparting part 8 for imparting mechanical motion with respect to the hopper; a supply part for supplying the powder to the powder conveyance surface of the rotary body from the hopper; and a discharge part 12a for discharging the powder supplied to the powder feed surface of the rotary body to the outside.
