PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology having a broad range of application for detection of disconnection of an A/D converter.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device (100, 101) comprises an analog-digital conversion part (2) for converting an analog signal that indicates a voltage of each of signal lines (SP, SN) which are electrically connected to input terminals (DSAN_P, DSAN_N), respectively, for inputting signals, to a digital signal; a signal generation part (3, 7) for generating a signal at a predetermined frequency (fx) and outputting the signal to the signal line via a capacitative element (CP, CN); and a data processing part (1). The data processing part can determine whether disconnection exists in a signal path connected to the input terminal on the basis of a magnitude of a spectrum relevant to the predetermined frequency included in a conversion result obtained by the analog-digital conversion part.
