Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for detecting a failure in photovoltaic power generation, and a photovoltaic power generation device, which are capable of easily detecting a small scale failure in a photovoltaic power generation array.SOLUTION: A current-voltage characteristics acquisition part determines current-voltage characteristics of a PV array 1 from an output current of the PV array 1. An enlargement processing part 23 performs a processing for enlarging a change of the current-voltage characteristics determined by the current-voltage characteristics acquisition part. A failure detection part 24 detects a failure of the PV array 1 on the basis whether or not the change of the current-voltage characteristics enlarged by the enlargement processing part 23 falls in a predetermined range.
