ELECTRONIC BOOK MANAGEMENT METHOD, SERVER DEVICE, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book management method capable of readily lending and borrowing purchased electronic books within a limited range of a purchaser such as intimate friends, a server device, and a computer program.SOLUTION: The electronic book management method includes the respective steps of: a first step in which a content purchaser specifies a lending object content and precludes browsing of the lending object electronic content on a browsing device of the content purchaser for a certain period; a second step in which a management server device that accepts a lending procedure request including data proving that the browsing of the lending object electronic book content has been precluded for the certain period, creates one lending management record capable of identifying the content purchaser, the object content, and a borrowing user; and a third step in which the management server device creates lending procedure data on the basis of the lending management record and transmits the data to the browsing device of the content purchaser.
