PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive refrigerator of high energy-saving effect, improved in usability and safety.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a wireless transmitting/receiving section 21 executing RFID wireless communication with a mobile terminal 22, a door opening/closing detecting section 23 detecting opening/closing of a door, an information storing section 28 storing data on the counted number of the door opening/closing detecting section, and a control section for controlling temperature setting of the refrigerator. The wireless communicating section transmits the data of the information storing section to the mobile terminal, and the control section is constituted to change contents of control on the basis of the control data in receiving the control data from the mobile terminal. As the mobile terminal is touched to the refrigerator itself in executing the communication, the refrigerator can be used at ease without feeling confusion about operation, as the data is directly transmitted and received to the mobile terminal, the safety is improved, further the refrigerator can be inexpensively provided, a user can change an operation of the refrigerator itself to achieve the operation of low power consumption, and significant energy-saving effect can be expected.
