Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted pendulum type vehicle that adjusts a height of a seat by using a cylinder type moving device, configured to maintain excellent center-of-gravity balance of a vehicle body, while preventing the body from being enlarged by effectively utilizing the space thereof.SOLUTION: An inverted pendulum type vehicle includes: a moving unit 50 having a main wheel 52; a vehicle body frame 10 supporting the main wheel; driving units 90, 130 supported at the front of the vehicle body frame to drive the main wheel; a battery unit 250 supported at the rear of the vehicle body frame to supply electric power to the driving units; a seat 200 to be seated by an occupant; and a telescopic supporting column 180 for supporting the seat so as to be moved up/down. The telescopic supporting column is arranged between the driving unit and the battery unit in a vehicle front-rear direction.
