PROCESS FOR CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC CARBONATE OR ORGANIC CARBAMATE AND SOLID CATALYST THEREFORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for reactivating a spent solid alcoholysis catalyst, such as a catalyst useful for transesterification reactions and/or disproportionation reactions.SOLUTION: A process includes steps of removing polymeric materials deposited on a catalyst and re-depositing catalytically active metals on the solid catalyst. The removal step and re-deposition step are carried out in a transesterification reactor as it is, and the removal step includes a step of bringing the solid catalyst into contact with a solution containing at least one of alcohol and water.
