BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the winding state of a cuff without depending on the change of the content in the cuff.SOLUTION: A blood pressure measuring apparatus includes: an adjustment means to variably adjust the fluid amount in the cuff by impressing a voltage thereto; a pressure detector 32 to detect a cuff pressure; a drive controller 33 to variably control the voltage impressed to the adjustment means; a voltage detector to detect a voltage value impressed to the adjustment means; and a perimeter detector 351 to detect the perimeter of a measurement site around which the cuff is wound from a pressure-voltage change relation following the change of the cuff pressure detected from the cuff wound around the measurement site and a voltage value change detected along with the change of the cuff pressure, in the adjustment process to adjust the fluid amount in the cuff variably.
