For example, light Lemitted from the LED element 31 of the light emitting and receiving package 3X"-a is reflected by the object A on a display surface and reaches the phototransistor 32 of the package 3X"-a, and light Lemitted from the LED element 31 of the light emitting and receiving package 3Y"-a is reflected by the object A on the display surface and reaches the phototransistor 32 of the package 3Y"-a. This allows for determination whether or not the object A exists at coordinates (X1,Y1) by the presence or absence of the reflection light Land L.
