Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing a variation in density of toner.SOLUTION: A body 78K accommodates a developer comprising toner and a carrier. A developing roller 72K is rotatably provided in the body 78K, and carries the developer on a peripheral surface thereof. A supply unit 80K forms a replenishment space Sp that faces the peripheral surface of the developing roller 72K and in and out of which the developer flows in association with rotation of the developing roller 72K, and supplies toner to the body 78K by contacting the toner with the developer present in the replenishment space Sp.
