Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power mass distribution measuring apparatus capable of accurately and safely measuring power mass distribution in a container such as reactor having an agitation mechanism by in-line, to provide a container operation method using the apparatus and to provide a polyolefin manufacturing method using the operation method.SOLUTION: The powder mass distribution measuring apparatus for measuring powder mass distribution in a container with an agitation mechanism in which at least powder is stored includes: a unit (A) (a1) using a container body as an oscillation electrode, including a plurality of independent detection ends in the container and including a shielding electrode for restricting an area to be measured in the inside or outside of the container, or (a2) using the container body as a shielding electrode for restricting an area to be measured and including an oscillation electrode and a plurality of detection ends in the inside of the container; an electrostatic capacity measuring part or measuring means (B) for measuring electrostatic capacity generated in the whole container or a part of the container in each detection end; and an arithmetic unit (C) for calculating powder mass distribution in the container on the basis of the measured electrostatic capacity.
