PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine pivotally supporting a base portion of a boom between left and right vertical plates positioned at lateral sides of a cabin, the work machine configured to be able to install the cabin close to an edge of the vertical plate by attaching and fixing a side cover covering a side surface lower side at a vertical plate side of a cabin room to the vertical plate closer to the cabin and bringing a side panel at the vertical plate side of the cabin into contact with an upper edge of the side cover in an abutting manner via a seal material, the work machine capable of regulating the side cover and the side panel of the cabin from being deviated in a lateral direction, the work machine free of application of unreasonable force due to vibration of the cabin to the side cover, the work machine eliminating the need of hole alignment between bolt insertion holes of the side cover and bolt insertion holes of the side panel of the cabin in such a case where the side cover and the side panel are bolt-fixed.SOLUTION: A side cover 64 is interposed between an overlapping wall 80 provided on a side panel 56 at a vertical plate 21L side of a cabin 13 and a regulating wall 82 provided on a side panel 56 of the cabin 13.
