Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently washing amorphous silica at low cost while reducing the amount of water used for washing.SOLUTION: A method for washing amorphous silica uses a centrifugal separator and includes a washing step in which water pouring and washing of amorphous silica are carried out while keeping the centrifugal force of the centrifugal separator at 1.0-2.0 G. The method may include a dehydration step in which the centrifugal force of the centrifugal separator is increased to ≥300 G and the liquid component is removed from the amorphous silica. Preferably, the washing step and the dehydration step are repeated until the electrical conductivity of the liquid component removed in the dehydration step becomes ≤10 mS/m.
