Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of effectively determining the capability of the reconveyance of a sheet material after sheet jam occurs by properly detecting sheet jam for a sheet material conveyed during ordinary print and a sheet material conveyed for automatic sheet ejection after conveyance is stopped due to a jam stop.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying performance is determined by analyzing characteristics of a sound collected by a sound collecting device 340. In sheet conveying performance determination in sheet jam during normal print, a threshold in which a condition of first sheet conveying performance determination is 90% is used, and in sheet conveying performance determination in sheet jam after automatic sheet ejection, a threshold in which a condition of second sheet conveying performance determination is 70% is used because the threshold having the condition is conveyable so that the sheet easily becomes non-conveyable.
