Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery high in capacity and high in safety.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 includes a positive electrode 12, a negative electrode 11, a separator 13 and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode 11 includes a negative electrode active material containing at least one of silicon and a silicon alloy. The nonaqueous electrolyte includes 70 vol.% or more of at least one of fluorine-containing ether and a phosphazene compound. The nonaqueous electrolyte includes a solute at such a content that the conductivity of the nonaqueous electrolyte is 0.5 mS/cm or more and 3.0 mS/cm or less.
