PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which prevents breakage of a circuit due to electrostatic discharge, in an etching process.SOLUTION: The display device includes a first conductive layer in which a first signal line that extends within a frame area and a display area and a second signal line that is adjacent to the first signal line and extends within the frame area are formed; an insulating layer which is disposed on the first conductive layer; a second conductive layer which is disposed on the insulating layer and in which a ground wire crossing the first signal line and the second signal line in a plan view is formed; a semiconductor layer which is disposed between the insulating layer and the second conductive layer and in which a first semiconductor film and a second semiconductor film are formed separated from each other; and a protection diode. The first semiconductor film overlaps, in a plan view, a region where the first signal line crosses the ground wire; and the second semiconductor film overlaps, in a plan view, a region where the second signal line intersects the ground wire.
