PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transfer device capable of executing all of the transfer, the mass measurement, and the labeling in a series of operations.SOLUTION: An article transfer device 100 includes a force sensor 1, a robot hand 2, a robot arm 3, an acceleration sensor 4, a controller 40, a first label issuing unit 71, and a second label issuing unit 72. The controller 40 calculates a mass of an article based on a force and an acceleration to be applied to an article Q before the article Q moves to the first label issuing unit 71 or the second label issuing unit, feeds the label with the calculated mass being printed thereon to the article from the corresponding label issuing unit, and determines a transfer destination of the article Q according to the calculated mass.
