CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VESSEL, AND VESSEL WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a vessel capable of restricting a rise in costs when enlarging a vessel propelling device, while maintaining reliability and robust performance of communication between a remote controller side ECU and an engine side ECU.SOLUTION: A remote controller side ECU 10 includes: a dual system transmitting means 21 which transmits the same control signal to each communication line in a dual system mode; and a single system 2ch transmitting means 22 which transmits separate control signal per communication line in a single system×2ch mode. A communication operation mode determining means 18 determines the communication operation mode based on the individual discrimination information transmitted from an engine side ECU and a state of the communication line, and a communication operation selecting means 19 selects the dual system transmitting means 21 or the single system 2ch transmitting means 22 so as to obtain the determined communication operation mode, and while the determined communication operation mode is transmitted to the engine side ECU so that the engine side ECU copes with the determined communication operation mode.
