PRINT DEVICE AND PRINT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in an ink landing position.SOLUTION: A print device includes: a carriage that has a nozzle for discharging ink and is moved in a predetermined direction; a signal generating part that generates a timing signal for defining ink discharge timing according to a moving amount of the carriage; and a control part that discharges the ink from the nozzle based on the timing signal while moving the carriage in the predetermined direction, and that discharges the ink from the nozzle by delaying discharge timing with respect to the timing signal in at least one of acceleration and deceleration of the movement of the carriage. The control part adjusts the delay amount of the discharge timing according to discharge speed of the ink from the nozzle.
