Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting presence of cancer in a subject by clarifying new gene mutation causing the cancer and detecting the new gene mutation or protein in response to the mutation, a method for diagnosing the cancer in the subject, and a method for identifying a cancer patient who is positive to the mutation, and to provide a primer set, a probe, and a detection kit, which are used for these methods.SOLUTION: A method for detecting presence of cancer in a subject includes a step of detecting presence of mutation from 138th arginine of neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase 2 (NTRK2) tyrosine kinase domain in a sample received from the subject to cysteine.
