PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of performing data communication even when a microwave oven is in operation, which improves work efficiency without losing work time of the device.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 comprises a communication device 11 capable of communicating with a PC 2 through a wireless LAN 3. The communication device 11 comprises: an operation state acquisition unit 111 for acquiring an operation state of a microwave oven 5; a communication mode setting unit 112 for setting a communication mode with the PC 2; and a transmission unit 113 for transmitting setting of the communication mode by the communication mode setting unit 112 to the PC 2. The communication mode setting unit 112 has a function for setting a wireless communication mode with the PC 2 to be a block transmission mode when it is determined that the microwave oven 5 is in operation on the basis of information on the microwave oven 5; and a function for setting the wireless communication mode with the PC 2 to be a batch transmission mode when it is determined that the microwave oven 5 is not in operation.
