PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image and sound synchronous reproduction system and image and sound synchronous reproduction method capable of providing sound data synchronized with image data from the middle of reproduction of an image without arranging an internal clock in an image device (200) and sound devices (300) and without stopping an image with respect to the respective sound devices (300) performing access at arbitrary timing during the reproduction of an image.SOLUTION: A server (100) returns sound data where a total delay time of an image and sound is considered to respective sound devices (300) with respect to accesses from the respective sound devices (300).
