PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous mobile device capable of planning a route so that a movement load of each person and a movement load of an autonomous mobile device are minimized when it passes by a plurality of persons.SOLUTION: A route change planning part 103 plans one or more ways of course change for a plurality of persons. An attribute determination part 108 determines an attribute on mobility of a person. A load evaluation part 104 evaluates a total movement load of each person and an autonomous mobile device with respect to each way of course change on the basis of an attribute, a location and a speed as to mobility of each person. A target person determination part 105 selects a way of course change which exhibits a smallest total movement load, and determines persons performing and not performing course change. A movement route determination part 106 determines a moving route of the autonomous mobile device on the basis of a selected way of course change. A control part 107 controls the autonomous mobile device so that it travels on a determined moving route.
