FPD MODULE ASSEMBLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a line length, simplify a mechanism section, miniaturize an apparatus, reduce a cost and improve production efficiency by efficiently inspecting three sides on which a mounting member is mounted, in an FPD (Flat Panel Display) module assembly apparatus processing the three sides in parallel.SOLUTION: The FPD module assembly apparatus processes a long side (a source side) and short sides (gate sides) of a display panel substrate in parallel, and a mounting member is heated, pressure-fitted and connected to respective sides of the display panel substrate. The FPD module assembly apparatus includes: a first camera that photographs a state of the long side (the source side) of the display panel substrate being conveyed from a mounting step in an upstream step; a second camera that photographs a state of the short sides (the gate sides) of the display panel substrate being moved in the FPD module assembly apparatus; and image recognition means that recognizes the images photographed by the first camera and the second camera.
