Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine that can prevent occurrence of a circulating current among coils connected in parallel and further can improve productivity of the coils.SOLUTION: A stator 13 has pole coil sections 51, 52, 55 and 56 constituted of outer side coil sections 51a, 52a, 55a and 56a and inner side coil sections 51b, 52b, 55b and 56b. In each pole, the outer side coil sections 51a, 52a, 55a and 56a and the inner side coil sections 51b, 52b, 55b and 56b are disposed in this order from an outer peripheral side toward an inner peripheral side of a stator core 22. The outer side coil sections 51a, 52a, 55a and 56a and the inner side coil sections 51b, 52b, 55b and 56b are connected in series by wave winding sections 50a and 50b. In different poles having the same phases, the first pole coil section 51 and the fifth pole coil section 55, and the second pole coil section 52 and the sixth pole coil section 56 are in rotational symmetry about a shaft center L.
