PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which is designed to facilitate the alternation of settings and can show the costs needed for the execution of printing, etc. depending on the state of its use by the user and an image formation device usage management system.SOLUTION: An input unit accepts as its input a request for the execution of at least image formation processing or document image read processing. A point conversion table predefines points corresponding to the costs of consumables or of power consumption for each operation associated with an execution request. A point calculation unit acquires operation related points from the point conversion table when an execution request is input and totalizes these points for each designed period to find cumulative points. A usage state table records therein cumulative points for each user ID which identifies the user associated with the execution request. A display unit displays a reference screen including an operation menu screen, calculated points or cumulative points.
