Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery having a large current value, and a method for manufacturing the solar battery.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided a solar battery including a first electrode, a second electrode, a porous layer and an electrolyte layer. The porous layer is in contact with the first electrode. The porous layer includes a porous structure and a dye. The porous structure includes a plurality of granular parts and a needle-like part extending from each of the granular parts, and also includes a tungsten oxide. The dye adheres to the surface of the porous structure. The electrolyte layer is in contact with the porous layer and the second electrode.
