IC CARD ISSUING SYSTEM AND IC CARD ISSUE MANAGEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for, even when issuing an IC card by using an IC card issuing machine which does not have any function for managing the number of residual unissued IC cards, managing the number of residual cards.SOLUTION: An IC card issue management device 2 includes: an issuing machine DB23 for storing the number of residual unissued IC cards in association with the issuing machine number of an IC card issuing machine 3 for every card classification; and number of residual card management means 22 for, when the issuing machine number of the remotely controlled IC card issuing machine 3 and the card classification and the number of issue of the IC cards are reported from IC card issuing machine control means 21, subtracting the number of issue from the number of residual cards of the card classification associated with the issuing machine number, and for, when the issuing machine number of the IC card issuing machine 3 and the card classification and the number of supplementation of the unissued IC cards are reported from terminal equipment 4, adding the number of supplementation to the number of residual cards of the card classification associated with the issuing machine number.
