PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of reducing maintenance work and allowing a continuous operation.SOLUTION: An image processing unit of a camera system stores a reference image storing a detection region imaged when a camera was installed and position information of a reference point set in the reference image and periodically detects a reference point deviation between a picked-up image of the camera and the reference image. If the detected deviation is greater than a fixed value (step S1), the image processing unit performs first correction processing for driving a universal head on the basis of the deviation (step S2). If the detected deviation is less than or equal to the fixed value, the image processing unit performs second correction processing for setting a segmentation range of the picked-up image again on the basis of the deviation (step S3). If a reference point deviation between the image after the second correction processing and the reference image is detected (step S4), the image processing unit performs third correction processing for setting the detection region again on the basis of the deviation (step S5).
