POLLING TEST DEVICE AND POLLING TEST METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polling test device and a polling test method which execute a polling test on a desired test target apparatus even when an IP address is connected to a plurality of duplicate networks.SOLUTION: When a polling test is executed on a monitoring target apparatus, information on a test target apparatus including a network service ID (SVID) of a network to which the monitoring target apparatus belongs and the IP address of the test target apparatus is input to a polling test device 100. A polling test control unit 22 of the polling test device 100 refers to SVID-IF correspondence information 33 to determine the IF corresponding to the SVID. Then, the polling test control unit 22 refers to IF-appended routing information 34 to determine the IP address of Nexthop in a Prefix corresponding to a test target IP address from among records corresponding to the determined IF.
