Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery capable of attaining safety of the battery by restraining a thermal runaway phenomenon or the like even when short-circuiting in the secondary battery occurs, and to provide a short circuit resistance control method of the lithium secondary battery.SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode 20 containing positive electrode active material; a negative electrode 30 containing negative electrode active material; and a polymer electrolyte composition containing polymer electrolyte, a nonaqueous organic solvent, and lithium salt. A content of the polymer electrolyte is 9-20 mass% against 100 mass% of the polymer electrolyte composition.
