Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of restraining the contact of a rotor and a stator while restraining the generation of electromagnetic noise and load variation to a bearing.SOLUTION: A compressor comprises a compressor outline 200, a stator 9 provided in the compressor outline 200, a motor 139 having a rotor 3 with a permanent magnet to be rotated by the stator 9, a compression mechanism part 1 having pistons 22A, 22B for compressing a refrigerant, and cylinders 21A, 21B for storing the pistons 22A, 22B, and a rotary shaft 2 connected with the compression mechanism part 1 on a lower side and with the rotor 3 on an upper side. The compression mechanism part 1 comprises in a lower part of the rotary shaft 2 bearings 24A, 24B for supporting rotatably the rotary shaft 2. The rotor 3 has an outer diameter smaller on an upper side of the rotor 3 than that of the lower side of the rotor 3.
