Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image by an active ray-curable inkjet ink having high pinning property and high adhesiveness of a cured film to a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming method includes: a step of discharging from an inkjet recording head, the droplet of an active ray-curable inkjet ink which contains a photo-gelling agent, photopolymerizable compound, photopolymerization initiator and non-polymerizable resin and conducts a sol-gel phase transition by temperature to apply the droplet on the recording medium; and a step of curing the droplet by irradiating the droplet landed on the recording medium with light from an LED light source. In that case, a polyester or ketone resin having at least one polar functional group in a molecule is used as the non-polymerizable resin.
