Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end tab for welding capable of promoting discharge of gas generated by welding to outside and of suppressing welding defects caused by the gas.SOLUTION: An end tab 1 for welding includes: a barrier 2 approximately orthogonal to a weld line of a base material 10; and side walls 3 extended from the barrier 2 toward the base material 10. A grooved piece 6 disposed at an end of a weld groove 10b to extend the weld groove 10b of the base material 10 in the direction of the weld line is supported by an intersecting part 4 between the barrier 2 and the side wall 3, and a gas vent passage is installed in the intersecting part 4.
