FIBER TYPE PHOTOELECTRIC SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber type photoelectric sensor, capable of reducing a virtual occupancy width per channel when a plurality of sets are continuously mounted.SOLUTION: The fiber type photoelectric sensor includes: two sets of a light projection circuit and a light reception circuit corresponding to a first and a second detection channel; a single CPU for performing detection operation of the two detection channels in time division; two output lines corresponding to the two detection channels; and four fiber insertion inlets arrayed on a front face. The fiber type photoelectric sensor is configured to be switchable between a SET processing mode, in which the function content of a setting item provided for each detection channel can be set, and a RUN processing mode, in which detection operation is performed by the two sets of the light projection circuit and the light reception circuit according to the function content of the setting item set in the two detection channels.
