PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of highly accurately determining presence/absence of a passersby such as pedestrians according to a traveling position of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support device 1 includes: an image data acquisition unit 11; an overt passerby existence probability determination unit 13 that determines an overt passerby existence probability using a feature amount of the acquired image data; a position information acquisition unit 14 that acquires position information of vehicles; a potential passerby existence probability determination unit 17 that determines a potential passerby existence probability using the acquired position information; and a passerby existence determination unit 18 that determines presence/absence of a passersby in the periphery of the vehicle using the overt passerby existence probability and the potential passerby existence probability.
