Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating drive device that can be adapted to resource saving by reducing its weight, and can withstand a higher load of a driven body than a configuration in which all main components of a planetary gear transmission are resin.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor driving device 10 includes; a motor 20; a planetary gear speed reducing device 30; a drum shaft 50 that transmits a rotating drive force outputted from an output shaft 40 of the planetary gear speed reducing device 30 to a photoreceptor drum. In a hybrid configuration, an internal gear 32 of the planetary gear speed reducing device 30 is resin, and a material of a second carrier 38 where a first sun gear 31, an output shaft 40, and an output shaft 40 are provided is metal.
